Anyone else? I think it’s seriously messed up how emotionally wounded and worked up people can get. If people got half as hyped over helping save baby kittens from getting stuck in trees or helping the homeless as they do over who thew the ball to the guy the best, the world would be a perfect place.
Here are a few nice shots I got for class, the dancer is my friend Taylor and she was absolutely phenomenal. She bought a “mood hoop” (lighted hulahoop) for the electric forest concert we may or may not go to this summer. I used my normal camera (Canon Powershot) and turned my IOS waay down and I think it turned out pretty nice. Tell me what you think!
My friend Clayborn has recently started up his career in DJ-ing, which I think is amazing, and he is currently doing shows to support cancer cures and raise money to help anyone with cancer or help the cancer patients families. His beats are sickkkk and you should check out his site or his YouTube page. If you’re looking for a ringtone, a background sound for a video, a good song to listen to, or for a DJ from the lower Michigan area, hit up DJ Kamikaze, he’s your man. He’s spent thousands and thousands on fresh, new equpiment, has put his blood sweat and tears into doing this thing he loves, and I think he deserves as much support as we can give him.
Warm the milk in a saucepan and whisk occasionally until it’s heated thoroughly. Remove the pan from heat and slowly and carefully stir in the chocolates and whisk until it’s smooth and there’s no lumps. Add a couple pinches of cinnamon or maybe even some other spices you might enjoy, and pour into a cute little mug that will make the cocoa look ten times better. Now lastly and most important, fill that mug with LOTS of whip cream! (My favorite part!)
So I went and bought myself a really modest and nice little Canon powershot camera with my recent paycheck. I’ve been working at my first job since August and I’m very proud of my cute, mini paychecks I recieve every other week so I thought I’d treat myself and make my life in my Digital Photography class a little smoother, by purchasing this little beauty. And I’m glad I did I love it.
So yeah these are some nature pics I took for my photography class. When I take pictutes, I’ve been focusing a lot on movement and the rule of thirds and all that fancy stuff. To you more advanced photographers I’m sure I sound sooooo novice but ya know what? Whatever. They still turned out pretty nice, so there.
My favorite is the one with the vines sliding up the bark, I think that one was pretty spot on. The other ones are pretty basic but they’re alright. I didn’t have much time or a good place to shoot as it was in the woods behind the highschool and I had like an hour to shoot, but still. There’s beauty to be find even in such a treacherous place.
I hope you like them! Leave a comment and tell me what you think and god bless .x.
I love how rustic our fireplace looks. We don’t have a lot of money for nice things, but our fireplace all lit up and warming in the winter makes me feel like the richest girl in the world. Our tree is about 15 years old, and its just as beautiful as it was when I was a little girl just barley tall enough to see the whole thing. Christmas is so beautiful. I hope you enjoy these simple little pictures of Christmas in my house.
I love knitting so much. Call me a nerd, but I do. My whole family calls me grandma mariah (HAR HAR). But honestly? I love big, chunky, warm sweaters. I love large beanies and knitted socks, and I love knitting them even more. Being able to wear and use something I made with my own 2 hands is an amazing thing and its also a very relaxing, healthy past time. It makes you more self sufficient and keeps you from absorbing all your time and energy into the internet. Get some lessons and try it sometime!
