I’m not going to go into depth on this very touchy issue, but I am going to have my say on it because its gained quite a reputation. When I first heard about it, I was naturally against it. I mean, when you look at it at face value, isn’t it killing a baby? Then on the other side, why should a woman have to carry a burden like that when she has a life to live? Well, NO ONE who hasn’t had to make such a hard desicion has the right to claim it just or unjust, but I will say that everyone should understand and accept both sides of the argument.
On one side, what if a woman was raped? What if there is more to the story then we can comprehend. How can you look a woman who was raped in the face and call her a killer? I know I couldn’t. A child, on average, costs a million dollars. What if she couldn’t afford the child? You just simply don’t know the story. You can’t get inside someone’s head, but again, you can’t decide it just or unjust.
On the other side, there’s always adoption. Plus, if you make the decision to have sex, you ought to keep in mind that pregnancy is always possible and if you can’t handle having a baby at that time, you shouldn’t have sex until you’re ready. Anything is possible, you shouldn’y risk something like that. Abortion is also seen as murder by some, so depending on your definition of a baby, abortion may or may not be simply illegal.
